"I found this camcorder to meet my expectations. The 60x zoom is good and the quality is very good. The digital zoom to 2000 is like all digital zooms - not great. It is easy to switch between DVD recording and Memory Stick recording. The still photo quality requires a steady hand and is not good when zooming in. The audio quality is good. Low light is good. Color quality is good. I\'m satisfied with it."

The set-up takes a little while and you do have to use the handbook provided to get through it. We would recommend getting a second battery as a back-up when you want to do a lot of recording at one time. It is compact and light-weight and also takes still photos. Having the disc and the flash drive in one camera is fantastic!     "I just bought this camera to replace my old Hitachi camcorder and this camera is awesome. The video quality is great the sound is excellent and it is Mac compatible for those who may be wondering it will work on imovie. But this camera is lightweight and the discs do not need to be finalized before you put them in a dvd player or import them to a computer, you just hook up the usb cord and import the video quick and easy. It does come with it\'s own software that is only compatible with windows which I dont have so I dont know if its any good. But so far I am very pleased with this camera perfect for anyone who loves to film themselves and edit the footage. Really good buy for a great price. "
